FW Capital strengthens team with new appointments

FW Capital has appointed two new executives to expand operations and delivery of investment funding across the North.

Toby Butcher has been appointed as Portfolio Executive and will be responsible for managing the growing number of businesses who have received investment from NPIF - FW Capital Debt Finance – which is managed by FW Capital and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF).

Chartered banker Toby has over 10 years’ corporate banking experience, combined with over 10 years’ business turnaround experience at one of the 'Big Four' accountancy firms. He has worked with a diverse range of business clients, across a broad range of sectors.

Nick Donaghy is appointed as Assistant Investment Executive and will work with investment executives on providing loans with values typically between £100,000 and £750,000. Prior to joining FW Capital, Nick was a client-facing corporate banker - working in the large corporate team at Santander’s Leeds office.

FW Capital can provide loans of £100,000 to £750,000 in the NPIF region with a focus on Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and the Tees Valley.

The Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund project is supported financially by the European Union using funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020 and the European
