Companies embracing new funding opportunities

Propeller“It’s now well over a year since we started investing the North East Growth Plus Fund and I’m pleased that in that time the Fund has become a key part of the funding on offer to established businesses in the North East,” remarks fund manager, Andrew Coles.

“The enthusiasm and commitment of the management teams and advisors I’ve met is as impressive as any I have seen.”

Coles continues: “Added to this, I’ve been equally impressed by businesses’ willingness to work with their advisors to consider all funding options open to them, including growth capital options, such as equity. This is really quite a shift from even just a few years ago when short-term debt deals were very much the order of the day.”

FW Capital has so far completed six deals in established North East-based businesses, all of them equity or quasi-equity investments.
