Noisy Drinks North West set for expansion following £105,000 investment

Noisy Drinks Company North West Ltd, the sole distributor of the Noisy Drinks iced-drinks range in the North West, North Wales and Staffordshire, has received a £105,000 loan from The North West Fund to fund its expansion.  FW Capital made the investment from The North West Fund’s £35 million Business Loans Fund.

The investment from The North West Fund for Business Loans, which is financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Investment Bank (EIB), will enable Noisy Drinks to increase its overall market share of the wholesale iced-drinks market in the region.  Noisy Drinks North West will install over 100 new iced drinks machines this year alone.

Stockport-based Noisy Drinks North West provides a full installation, stock replenishment and maintenance service for its clients which include retailers, leisure outlets, supermarkets and schools.

The company currently has 730 machines installed at over 320 outlets with clients such as Alton Towers, Drayton Manor Theme Park, Chester Zoo, Tesco and Haven Holidays.

“The market for healthy, high-quality iced drinks has really taken off and is forecast to grow considerably over the next 5 years. We plan to increase our sales as well as to increase the number of outlets we supply across the North West, North Wales and Staffordshire,” said Gary Parker, a director at Noisy Drinks North West.  “We pride ourselves in providing the best service levels to our clients which is particularly important in all of our markets.”

Noisy Drinks North West has recently secured a number of new contracts, including the growing, but highly-regulated education sector.

Commenting on the investment, Parker said:  “FW Capital’s loan has come at exactly the right time for us as we’re continuing to win new contracts. It will provide us with the additional capital we need to support our expansion.”

FW Capital Investment Executive, Phillip Hargreaves said: “Noisy Drinks North West is targeting a growing market with a well-established UK brand.   Its experienced team is well placed to take advantage of some excellent opportunities, particularly in the education sector.  We wish them well as they build the Noisy Drinks brand in the North West.”

Andy Leach, Chief Executive of North West Business Finance said:  I’m delighted that The North West Fund for Loans is supporting the growth plans of such a dynamic company. Noisy Drinks appears to be operating in an exciting market and is another quality investment within a developing portfolio of loans that The North West Fund is now supporting in the region.”

Noisy Drinks North West was referred to FW Capital by Businesslink North West’s Access to Finance Specialist, Steve Wall.  “Businesslink is pleased to have worked with an ambitious company like Noisy Drinks North West.  We understood the company’s funding needs and decided to refer it to FW Capital after seeing its previous investments in the region,” said Wall.

Launched in 2001, the Noisy Drinks Company has grown to be one of the UK's leading iced-drinks suppliers whose products include, Starslush, Slurp Thickshake, Froozie 99.9% and Chiqqo Iced Coffee.  It now has a UK-wide distribution network and prides itself on its healthy products, ethical and environmental trading policies.
